Overview

The news is rife with stories these days about people’s personal privacy being invaded in public places such as changing rooms, hotel rooms, gym locker rooms, and more. You don’t have to be the next victim with the Camera Finder With RF Detector slipped in your pocket everywhere you go.

A scan of the room through the viewfinder of this clever detector makes all camera lenses, no matter how well hidden, easily visible within a large range from 3 inches to 30 feet away. Use the radio frequency detection feature to locate other surveillance devices such as listening devices or audio bugs, or any others that transmit using a radio signal. Once detected, the Camera Finder With RF Detector can alert you either visually, audibly, or via vibration, allowing you to use the precise amount of discretion you need. An adjustable detection sensitivity feature then allows you to hone in on a located device to pinpoint its exact location for disabling or removal.

The built-in rechargeable lithium battery is capable of holding a charge for up to 5 hours of continuous use. This, combined with the retractable telescoping antenna and incredibly compact handheld design, make the Camera Finder with RF detector the most portable countersurveillance tool to take with you on all of your travels.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions about the Camera Finder with RF Detector

What are the pre-sweep actions?

Turn off authorized signals such as WiFi routers, cordless phones, cell phones, and Bluetooth devices to prevent or minimize false-positive signal detections.

How do I know if I'm near an unauthorized transmitting device?

Thoroughly cover the area by moving the detector across all walls and surfaces to any accessible ceilings, floors, power outlets, computer connections, and telephone jacks as these are likely places for hidden transmitters and bugs. If alerted to an RF signal, move the detector away until the alert stops, then gently adjust the sensitivity of the detector down before scanning the area again. Repeat until the origin of the RF signal can be pinpointed close enough for physical inspection.

How do I search for hidden cameras?

Point the LED lights towards the area where a camera is suspected. Look through the lens and slowly scan the room. If you see a pink or red dot blinking back at you, that is the iris of the hidden camera lens.
