The Guardian Alert system comes with a base station and a receiver pendant. The base station connects through your existing phone line and, when activated by the receiver, directly calls 911 emergency response. Set-up is simple, giving you the peace of mind you need when an elderly patient is left on their own. The Pendant runs for a full year on a AAA alkaline battery (included). The receiver is also splash resistant so that it can be taken into the shower. The Test Button on the bottom of the unit gives an audible confirmation of battery condition. Hold the Test Button in for an extra few seconds to confirm that the full system is working.
