Turn off authorized signals such as WiFi routers, cordless phones, cell phones, and Bluetooth devices to prevent or minimize false-positive signal detections.
How do I know if I'm near an unauthorized transmitting device?
Watch the 10-levels LED display. If the device picks up a wireless signal, the LEDs will light up according to the signal strength. When all 10 LED lights up, you can start to visually inspect the area to locate the bug.
How do I search for hidden cameras?
Plug the camera lens finder into the top of the Personal Multi Bug Detector. Look through the lens and slowly scan the room. If you see a pink or red dot blinking back at you, that is the iris of the hidden camera lens.
