The Dakota Alert MURS Motion Detector with Base Station Kit is ideal for monitoring of remote locations like farmland, warehouses, and game trails. The motion detector is easily mounted to a tree or post and is capable of detecting people, animals, or vehicles in motion. Alerts are sent to the base station which can be positioned at your home or office. The signal can be transmitted up to several miles, depending on the environment and terrain. The alerts are in the form of a spoken voice in English stating which preset zone featured the detected motion. Users can present alert zones, allowing you to know immediately where the motion was detected.
The device features 5 channels and 38 subchannels, making it easy for you to establish communication with other users. The handheld device is powered by 6 rechargeable batteries which come included with the device and offer approximately 40 hours of use per charge. The FCC allows users to communicate with MURS without requiring a license.
