The motion detector is easily mounted to a tree or post and is capable of detecting people, animals, or vehicles in motion. Alerts are sent to the handheld transceiver which can easily be carried by users on-the-go. The signal can be transmitted up to several miles, depending on the environment and terrain. The alerts are in the form of a spoken voice in English stating which preset zone featured the detected motion.
The device features 5 channels and 38 subchannels, making it easy for you to establish communication with other users. The handheld device is powered by 6 rechargeable batteries which come included with the device and offer approximately 40 hours of use per charge. This handheld device doubles as a two-radio for communicating with other MURS transmitters over a distance of several miles.
